Giggle Academy: Former Binance CEO CZ Launches New Project

Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has rolled out the Giggle Academy project targeting free basic education for all across multiple jurisdictions. 

In a recent announcement on X (Twitter), Zhao revealed plans for the educational project giving children free access while utilizing new techniques. As a nonprofit organization, Giggle Academy would have no revenue deploying gamification and an adaptive curriculum for end users. 

“Free basic (grade 1-12 ish) education, for all. No revenue. Gamified. Adaptive.” 

The embattled former CEO disclosed that the hiring process has begun to allow potential staff to work directly with Zhao. Furthermore, Zhao specifically posted a request for teachers who can create content sparking positive reactions from the wider cryptocurrency community. Several X users lauded the project highlighting the positive impact it could create for millions of people. 

“Building a high-quality and sticky education platform that is entirely free and accessible to all is the most impactful thing I could do for the next chapter in my life,” he added. 

Giggle Academy Targets Multiple Spheres of Learning

Per the concept paper, the project aims to provide addictive and adaptive education to kids without access targeting disadvantaged jurisdictions. 

Specifically, the project highlights grade 1-12 content without replacing the present school curriculum. Basic fields would include writing, language, literature, maths, science, physics, biology, and finance. While senior levels will include programming, arts, blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and entrepreneurship. 

Due to the controversy around history and religion, both topics will be excluded from the learning curriculum. In addition to the robust segments, it offers 100% online learning with no physical classes leveraging on AI automation. Challenges to the present system include a lack of group support for students but some details will be addressed in future iterations. 

Finally, gamification of the process makes learning adaptive and addictive to students. Giggle Academy will onboard digitally skilled teachers and game developers to train students. The gamification process will target younger students in a bid to sustain excitement levels as they develop to advance classes. 

CZ Introduces Platform Despite Legal Drama

The former Binance CEO has launched the new platform amid present legal challenges in the United States. Last year, Zhao was part of a $4.3 billion settlement with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). 

As a result, he stepped down from his role as Chief executive marking the start of a legal battle with authorities. On Nov 21, Zhao pleaded guilty to money laundering charges and faces sentencing on April 30 according to court documents.
