Bitcoin Cash was developed by Bitcoin miners and developers who were concerned about Bitcoin’s future and its capacity to scale.
Considering Bitcoin is restricted by transaction processing time and block size, the Bitcoin mining and developer communities opted to design BCH to allow more transactions in a single block, theoretically lowering fees and transaction times.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is considered a “fork” of Bitcoin, while supporters say that Bitcoin Cash more closely follows Satoshi Nakamoto‘s original concept of developing a peer-to-peer electronic cash system outlined in a 2008 white paper.
Despite their differences, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin have significant technological similarities. They use the same consensus mechanism and have set a supply limit of 21 million coins. BCH incorporated many improvements and features, such as a large block size (up to 32 MB as of now).
Bitcoin Cash itself forked into Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin Cash SV in November 2018. (Satoshi Vision). In 2021, Bitcoin Cash ABC was renamed eCash.
The features of Bitcoin Cash make it both a long-term store of value and a highly efficient medium of exchange.

With a market capitalization of $1.9 billion, BCH is currently trading at $100. Its prices have declined by 0.86% in the last 7 days and by 8.34% in the last one month. It has been experiencing a downward trend for quite some time and is currently down by 15.51% in the last 2 months, 13.80% in the last 3 months, and 77.51% year-to-date (YTD).
According to Coincodex’s technical analysis, investor sentiment is bearish regarding BCH. They predict that the price of BCH will rise to $ 143.54 in the next month.
According to their prediction, the BCH price would be between $ 176.44 and $ 305.76 in 2023; between $ 225.86 and $ 678.26 in 2024, and between $ 289.13 and $ 1,504.59 by 2025.
This means the price of Bitcoin Cash is expected to rise by 1,405.12% in the best case scenario (by 2025). Since BCH recorded an all-time high (ATH) of $4,355.62 in 2017, touching the $500 mark in the next bull run is within the realm of possibility.
