Is Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Launch Coming In Early 2023?

The Shiba Inu community anticipates the launch of the Layer-2 blockchain solution Shibarium in January 2023. The move comes after Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama’s latest pinned tweet hinting at the Shibarium launch coming “very soon.” However, it will not come until the New Year.

ShibArmy noted that Shytoshi Kusama has also updated his profile with “We Are Not Alone” and “With a new fren…Guess Who”. Some members speculate that the development of Shibarium has been completed and is just waiting for the right time to deploy.

The possibilities of Shibarium launch early next year are most likely. In fact, the official Twitter account of BoneShibaSwap has also hinted at Shibarium coming soon. BONE is the governance token for the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange and the gas token for the upcoming Shibarium layer-2 blockchain.

While the community hopes the launch in early 2023, the date is still not clear from official Twitter accounts.

Scam Alert: Fake Shibarium Twitter Accounts Rising

The Shiba Inu community actively awaits the Shibarium blockchain launch. However, the rise in fake Shibarium Network accounts on Twitter has been a serious concern for the community.

Shiba Inu’s developer Trophias said that they are aware of rising scam accounts and have reported the handle to Twitter. He also shared the link to the official Twitter account of the Shibarium Network.

Some scam accounts claiming to be official account for the Shibarium blockchain have almost thousand of followers. Therefore, users should avoid clicking on any link on these accounts. Many users are actively reporting these accounts in the community to prevent members from getting scammed.

SHIB Burn Rate Rapidly Increasing

Shiba Inu burn rate has been increasing in the last few weeks amid whales sending SHIB to burn address and selloff. In the last 24 hours, a total of 4,472,475 SHIB tokens were burned in 3 transactions. Shibburn website indicates a 76% decline in the last 24 hours.

SHIB token price is currently trading at $0.000008312, up nearly 1% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the BONE token is trading sideways with the current price trading at $0.8138.
