The crypto prices today have illustrated mixed price actions, stirring investor speculations across the globe. While Bitcoin (BTC) traded in the green zone, briefly topping the $66K mark, altcoins have illustrated mixed performances.
Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP traded in the green territories today. However, the meme coins sector witnessed a waning price action.
The global crypto market cap saw a 0.99% increase to $2.4 trillion. Meanwhile, the total crypto market volume from yesterday saw a 16.79% increase to $97.9 billion.
Here’s a brief report on the top cryptocurrencies and their price movements today, July 17.
The BTC price chart showed a 1.49% upswing at press time to reach $65,672.92. Bitcoin briefly crossed the $66K mark today, as illustrated by its 24-hour peak of $66,101.62. Besides, the token also slumped to a 24-hour low of $62,487.97.
Meanwhile, data from Soso Value further validated BTC’s consistent move into green territory. As of July 16, the spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $422.67 million in inflows, marking the eighth consecutive day of inflows in the digital asset-based investment product.
However, it’s worth mentioning that a whopping $19 billion in liquidations is set to take place should BTC continue to pump and hit $72,400.
The ETH price encountered volatility but managed to trade in the green at press time. Ethereum traded at $3,488.67 today, up slightly by 0.44% in the past 24 hours.

The crypto SOL’s price saw a 1.92% price upswing to trade at $161.06 today. Solana’s 24-hour bottoms and tops were recorded as $153.05 and $163.66, respectively.
XRP price experienced a continued trading session in the green territory, up 3.24% to $0.5859. The Ripple-backed crypto’s 24-hour slumps and peaks were recorded as $0.5343 and $0.5925, respectively.
As the final judgment in the remedies-related hearing nears, the Ripple-backed asset has taken a remarkable upward momentum. After breaking $0.56, XRP is moving toward a $0.6 price target, a vital resistance.
Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 0.41% over the past day to reach $0.1256. Simultaneously, Shiba Inu (SHIB) slipped 1.98% to $0.00001954.
Also, Floki Inu showed signs of a pullback, falling 4.38% to $0.0001877. However, PEPE and WIF maintained a position in the green zone.

Worldcoin (WLD) price rallied 18.63% to $2.75
Helium (HNT) price soared 14.96% to $4.31.
Arweave (AR) price surged 11.22% to $31.19.
Core (CORE) price upsurged 10.47% to $1.42.
Uniswap (UNI) price dipped 4.40% to $8.20.
Brett (BRETT) price fell 4.01% to $0.1411.
Notcoon (NOT) price slipped 3.99% to ).01647.
Toncoin (TON) price slipped 3.98% to $7.30.
Besides, the hourly time frame charts illustrated that BTC gained 0.53%, whereas ETH jumped 0.42%. Similarly, top altcoins SOL and XRP have mirrored the upswing during the same time frame, garnering optimism on the crypto prices today.
