Aurora Labs’ No-Code Blockchain Development Platform Goes Live!
The new Aurora Cloud Console, a groundbreaking, free-to-use plug-and-play solution for setting up your own decentralized network, has made it easier to create a blockchain than ever before.
Aurora Labs said in an announcement today that it’s targeting decentralized application and memecoin developers who’re fed up with the sluggish transaction speeds and lack of customization options on better-known blockchains such as Ethereum. Instead of deploying your dApp or token on that network, the Aurora Cloud Console gives you the option of creating a dedicated and customized blockchain for your own purposes.
In this way, it’s breaking new ground in blockchain accessibility by tearing down the technical barriers to building decentralized networks.
Previously, the only people who would even dare to try and create their own blockchains are developers who possess years of expertise in software development, as well as knowledge of specialist programming languages like Solidity.
What Aurora Lab’s platform provides
Now, it’s possible for absolutely anyone to create their own blockchain, using Aurora’s sophisticated no-code platform. Aurora Cloud Console aims to make the task as simple as creating an online store using a service such as Shopify. All you have to do is follow the step-by-step instructions, where you’ll set parameters such as the gas fees, the native token and the kinds of permissions available. Once done, it will handle all the nasty, technical coding stuff for you. The end result will be a highly scalable Aurora Virtual Chain based on NEAR Protocol’s ultra-rapid infrastructure, boasting superfast transaction speeds, EVM-compatibility and enterprise-grade security, plus access to a vast ecosystem of other dApps and Web3 services.
Aurora Labs has aspirations to get as many as 1,000 connected blockchains up and running by the end of the year. It’s targeting creators of memecoins and other Web3 projects, and argues that building your own, customized EVM-compatible network will be the fastest way to scale.
The arrival of Aurora Cloud Console comes after the debut of TurboChain last month. That new network was one of the very first Aurora Virtual Chains to be deployed. It’s a dedicated chain for the popular meme coin TURBO, which was previously deployed on Ethereum. By launching its own chain, the TURBO coin community is setting itself up for further growth, enabling users to pay their transaction gas fees using the TURBO token instead of ETH.
Aurora Labs Chief Executive Alex Shevchenko spelled out how big a deal the new platform really is, saying it allows anyone to create a fully customizable chain from scratch within days.
“We’ve removed the complexity, so builders can focus on creating great products while tapping into a thriving ecosystem of liquidity, tools, and users,” the executive explained. “Aurora Cloud Console is the gateway to Web3.”
