Bitwise Promotes Ethereum’s Unique Capabilities

Bitwise took to X to announce the latest addition to its crypto suite. The firm earlier shared a video of an Ethereum campaign that portrayed Ethereum for its availability, unlike Big Finance which “sleeps.” This commercial is available for minting as an NFT, a feat recognized as the first of its kind.

“Capture a piece of crypto history by minting Bitwise’s “Big Finance Sleeps”—the first-ever national TV spot available to be minted as an NFT,” Bitwise wrote on X.

The firm’s plans is to channel 50% of the proceeds from the NFT sales to the Protocol Guild to support Ethereum open-source developers. The remaining 50% will go to the actors. Bitwise sees this as yet another example of Ethereum’s unique capability of fostering fair and transparent compensation for creators.

The Ethereum commercial is focused on showing Ethereum’s versatility compared to traditional finance and tech platforms. In the long run, Bitwise is looking beyond raising brand awareness but also to highlight the potential of Ethereum to disrupt the status quo.

Victoria Kulbanska Anderson, Bitwise’s Head of Growth Marketing said in a statement,“With this campaign, we wanted to bring that versatility to life in a memorable way.”

“There’s something about personifying Ethereum as a contrast to legacy financial and tech platforms that both highlights its potential and spotlights just how inefficient the status quo can be. With these ads, we’re excited to point to Ethereum’s groundbreaking potential with the approachability, wit, and crypto-native ethos that has always defined Bitwise.”
