Crypto.com Visa Card, the most widely-available card shipping to Canada

Today, Crypto.com announced that Canadians can apply for its Crypto.com Visa Cards, which will begin shipping to Canada. The addition of Canada further cements the Crypto.com Visa Card’s status as the most widely-available card of its kind, following launches in Singapore (Oct ‘18), the United States (July ‘19), and Europe (Apr ‘20).

The cards feature a sleek, high-end metal design and are loaded with perks: No annual or monthly fees, no-fee ATM withdrawals, no foreign transaction fees, 100% rebate for Spotify, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, airport lounge access for selected card tiers, and up to 8% back instantly, in CRO rewards.

Expanding its reach in Canada is a natural next step for Crypto.com, as the country is moving rapidly in its adoption of cryptocurrencies.

“Canada is a tech-savvy, innovative country that has always been warm to cryptocurrencies. Our Crypto.com Visa Cards will provide the country’s residents with the most rewarding debit card on the market. This launch follows incredibly successful rollouts of our card across Singapore, the U.S., and 31 countries in Europe and represents the latest milestone in our march to bring the cards to every country” said Crypto.com Co-Founder and CEO Kris Marszalek.

Customers can reserve a card in the Crypto.com App. After completing the three-minute onboarding process, which includes ID verification, customers can use the App to manage their card, transactions, and freeze or unfreeze their card with a single tap. The App also allows users to securely buy, sell, store, send and track cryptocurrencies, as well as spend fiat currency that’s converted from cryptocurrency without exchange fees.

Notes: Crypto.com Visa cards are loaded with fiat, not crypto assets. All transactions are denominated in fiat currency.

Use of the Card is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Cardholder Agreement and fee schedule, if any. ATM bank fees may apply.
