BTC price rested at $58,686 today, a 2% fall in the past 24 hours. The flagship coin’s 24-hour lows and highs were recorded as $58,264.90 and $60,262.72, respectively.
Bitcoin’s dominance stood at 55.75%, a 0.50% decrease over the past day. The coin boasted a market cap of $1.16 trillion.
Today’s waning movement comes against the background of increased Bitcoin shorts, sparking concerns among investors. Following BTC price’s recent topping of the $60,000 mark, multiple exchanges saw aggressive BTC shorting.
ETH price traded at $2,645 today, a 1% upswing in the past 24 hours. The coin’s 24-hour lows and highs were recorded as $2,596.74 and $2,684.03, respectively.
Ethereum’s market cap rested at $318.21 billion today. Despite massive ETH whale dumps reported by CoinGape over the weekend, the coin sustained an upward movement, igniting investor optimism.
The crypto SOL’s price witnessed a 1% pump in value to reach $143 today. Its intraday lows and highs were $140.96 and $146.96, respectively.
Conversely, XRP price illustrated a highly turbulent movement, jumping marginally by 0.03% at press time to $0.5664. Its 24-hour lows and highs were $0.5623 and $0.5788, respectively.
