The crypto prices today have shown signs of a recovery after the recent black Monday witnessed across the broader markets. Bitcoin’s (BTC) price gained to reach the $55K mark today, whereas leading altcoins Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP pumped in tandem with the broader trend.

Notably, the global crypto market cap surged 3.97% to $1.97 trillion today. Further, the total crypto market volume over the past day saw a remarkable 73.92% increase to $212.48 billion.

Crypto Prices Today

Bitcoin Price

The BTC price chart illustrated gains worth 3.12% over the past day, reaching $55,848.13. Its 24-hour lows and tops were recorded as $49,121.24 and $56,271.37, respectively.

The flagship crypto’s price encountered significant volatility recently, slipping below the $50K mark amid the Japanese market collapse. However, today, as the market recovered, with Nikkei up nearly 10%, the crypto market also saw bolstered movements.

Besides, Bitcoin’s dominance fell 0.78% over the past day to 55.82%. This hinted toward a better-performing altcoins sector today.

Besides, the outflows in BTC ETFs totalled $168.44 million as of August 5, per data by Soso Value.

Ethereum Price

The ETH price chart showcased a significant 7.15% upswing in the past 24 hours, with the coin resting at $2,492.48 at press time. The 24-hour bottoms and peaks were recorded as $2,162.32 and $2,547.98, respectively.

Tron founder Justin Sun was recorded as having withdrawn 14,884 ETH amid the recent crypto market crash. This phenomenon underscored a potential buy-the-dip strategy, glimmering optimism on the coin’s future price movements.

Additionally, the Ethereum ETFs saw inflows of $48.8 million as of August 5 despite the bloodbath in the crypto market.

Solana Price

Simultaneously, the crypto SOL’s price experienced a 7.43% pump in value over the past day to reach $139.05. Solana’s 24-hour lows and peaks were recorded as $110.61 and $141.02, respectively.

XRP Price

The Ripple Labs-backed coin, XRP, witnessed a 7.84% rise in value to reach 0.5127. XRP’s 24-hour slumps and peaks were $0.4335 and $0.5154, respectively.

DOGE & SHIB Prices

Similarly, the meme coin sector mimicked the broader market trend today. Dogecoin (DOGE) price saw a 6.36% upswing in value to reach $0.9877. Further, Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) price witnessed a 13.46% price upswing to $0.00001364.

Also, it’s worth mentioning that PEPE, WIF, and FLOKI upsurged 7%-9%.

Crypto Gainers Today

Akash Network (AKT) price surged 36.20% to $2.70.
Bittensor (TAO) price soared 30.75% to $252.01.
Brett (BRETT) price gained 19.94% to reach $0.09487.
Mantle (MNT) price rose 19.12% to $0.6142.

Tether Gold (XAUt) price fell 1.28% to $2,410.92.
dYdX (DYDX) price slipped 0.55% to $1.
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) price tumbled 0.40% to $0.8462.
TRON (TRX) price waned 0.16% to $0.122.

Besides, the hourly time frame charts continued to showcase a bullish presence for BTC and ETH. However, XRP and SOL showed a waning movement in the interim. This data has ignited additional investor speculation on the crypto prices today.
