The ETH price rested at $2,437.58 today, a fall of 2.79% in the past 24 hours. This waning movement came primarily attributable to $2 billion worth of ETH moved by seized wallets linked to the Plus Token Ponzi scheme.
Meanwhile, Grayscale’s ETHE Ethereum ETF recorded $31.9 million in outflows as of August 7. Ethereum’s daily lows and peaks were $2,312.17 and $2,551.56, respectively.

With Judge Torres ruling that Ripple is “restrained and enjoined from violating Section 5 of the Securities Act,” the XRP community finally gets positive news. Moreover, the ruling mandated Ripple with a slightly above $125M penalty, a drastically less amount compared to SEC’s proposed $2 billion fine.
Also, the court ordered no disgorgement for Ripple, again posing as a setback for the SEC. Simultaneously, Ripple’s ODL sales won’t be subject to security laws following Torres’ ruling.
