The cryptocurrency market displayed mixed sentiment with major cryptos experiencing price fluctuations. However, on Tuesday, October 3, the market turned bearish, indicating cautious investor behavior.
The Bitcoin price experienced a 24-hour plunge of 1.61%, reaching $27,602.81. However, its one-day volume increased by 55.77% to $18.69 billion, while its market cap decreased by 1.64% to $538.20 billion at the time of writing.
In contrast, other altcoins, such as Ethereum price, saw a 3.55% decline in price, settling at $1,665.02 as of the latest update. The one-day volume for Ethereum also added 35.40% to $7.93 billion.
The Solana price dropped by 1.64% to $23.72, with a 12.11% decrease in its 24-hour volume, which reached $628.34 million. Additionally, the XRP price fell by 2.12% to $0.5117 on October 3.
In the meme coin sector, the Dogecoin price recorded a 1.63% slump, trading at $0.06221 at the time of writing, with its volume jumping 34.29% to $259.43 million. Additionally, the Shiba Inu price slipped by 3.38% to $0.000007297 on Tuesday.
The global cryptocurrency market as a whole experienced a 1.86% loss, amounting to $1.09 trillion at the time of writing on Tuesday. The overall market volume also increased by 26.50%, reaching $43.83 billion on the same day.

One of the most popular meme coins in recent days, the Pepe Coin price fell 8.51% to $0.0000007366 as of writing on Tuesday. Its market cap also noted a similar decline and was at $288.73 million, while its market cap over the last 24 hours rose 46.22% to $92.79 million.
The Bitcoin SV price traded at $40.27, noting a gain of 12.05% over the last 24 hours, and its market cap was at $775.66 million. The crypto’s volume skyrocketed 250.8% to $221.31 million as of writing on Tuesday.
The EOS price was up 2.59% from yesterday and traded at $0.6136, while its market cap was at $677.63 million. As of writing, the volume of the crypto was up 60% in the last 24 hours and reached $92.28 million.
The dYdX crypto was also on the top gainers’ list, witnessing a jump of 1.67%, and traded at $2.06. In the last 24 hours, the crypto’s volume skyrocketed 110.77% to $69.65 million, and its market cap rose 1.65% to $379.46 million.
