The crypto prices today have once again encountered bearishness after prolonged gains witnessed in recent days. Bitcoin (BTC) price backtracked to trade at the $64K level. Top cryptos Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) followed this tumbled movement. However, XRP showcased resiliency, managing to trade in the green zone despite the broader market trend.
The global crypto market cap saw a 1% decline to $2.37 trillion today. Further, the total crypto volume over the past day saw a 21.17% decrease to $77.19 billion.
Here’s a brief report on the top cryptocurrencies and their price movements today, July 18.
The BTC price appears to have encountered volatility against the backdrop of comparatively low inflows in spot Bitcoin ETFs. Data by Soso Value shows $53.35 million in inflows as of July 17, aligning with the token’s waning price trajectory.
BTC price rested at $64,813.21, down 1.33% in the past 24 hours. The token’s 24-hour lows and tops were recorded as $63,896.09 and $65,994.60, respectively.
Bitcoin’s dominance saw a 0.13% decline and stood at 53.89% today. Besides, it’s worth mentioning that continued inflows in the spot BTC ETFs might pave the way for the next BTC bull run.
ETH price dipped 1.62% to $3,428.72, aligning with the broader market trend. The crypto’s 24-hour bottoms and peaks were recorded as $3,379.10 and $3,515.54, respectively.
It’s worth noting that updated S-1 forms for the Ethereum ETF have been filed. However, Grayscale has reportedly set a hefty 2.5% fee for ETH ETF, sparking discussions among market participants.
The SOL price chart showed a 1.14% fall in value to reach $159.11 today. Solana’s 24-hour lows and highs were noted as $155.07 and $163.58, respectively.
XRP price, as mentioned above, illustrates remarkable resiliency today, maintaining a break above its resistance of $0.6 amid growing Ripple SEC settlement speculations. The token traded at $0.6085, up 2.64% over the past day. Its daily slumps and peaks were $0.5859 and $0.6366, respectively.

The meme coins sector mainly witnessed a trading session in the red zone. Dogecoin (DOGE) price slipped 1.82% to reach $0.1233. Shiba Inu (SHIB) price fell 3.48% to reach $0.00001887. Even Pepe coin showed signs of a pullback, tumbling 4.82% to $0.00001187.
Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) rallied 6.08% to $10.15.
Lido DAO (LDO) price surged 6.05% to $1.98.
THORChain (RUNE) price saw a 5% upswing to $4.38.
Neo (NEO) price soared 4.82% to $11.94.
Brett (BRETT) price dipped 5.74% to $0.133.
Mog Coin (MOG) price tanked 5.57% to $0.000002077.
Akash Network (AKT) price cracked 4.67% to $3.58.
Maker (MKR) price was down 4.66% to $2,905.25.
However, the hourly time frame charts indicated an upside movement for BTC and ETH, up 0.22% and 0.16%, respectively. Altcoins mirrored this rising price trajectory, sparking investor optimism over crypto prices ahead.
