Dogecoin Twitter Logo News: The news of Dogecoin becoming the new Twitter logo is starting to translate into a ripple effect in the crypto market. Elon Musk’s Twitter triggered the biggest price jump of the day among major coins on Monday with the move to change the platform’s logo. While the Dogecoin price skyrocketed with the news, it is interesting to watch price movements of other memecoins. Although the crypto community was surprised with the move, there is no official statement from the Twitter team about the logo change.

As Dogecoin price took a 26% rise with the Twitter logo change news, another popular meme token Shiba Inu saw significant ripple effect from it. Interestingly, neither Twitter team nor Elon Musk reacted about the Dogecoin logo change. The Twitter logo was on Monday replaced with a picture of DOGE icon. Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu price took a 6% jump in reaction to the memecoin news. SHIB Knight, a crypto trader, thinks the Twitter logo change will mean massive impact for meme tokens.
“Elon Musk changed Twitter logo to Doge image. It will be massive for dog coins like $SHIB, $FLOKI & $DOGE”
This is similar to the previous trends around memecoin rallies, which saw a Dogecoin led rally spread to the SHIB community. In the wake of the talk around DOGE, the memecoin’s team expained the story behind the dog in the picture.
