Donald Trump Jr. Challenges Kamala Harris

Donald Trump Jr. has caught the eyes of the market watchers with his recent provocative post on X, challenging Kamala Harris to attend the FOX News debate. In other words, he has questioned whether Kamala Harris would be accepting the debate invitation or back out. In addition, he suggested that if VP Harris declines to attend, it would reflect her poor courage. He stated:

My father already did a debate with Fake News CNN, so is Kamala going to accept the debate with Fox News? Or is she going to be a coward and back out?

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has recently agreed to the debate on FOX News, after declining the invitation in the primary phase. In the primary phase, the former US President said that he would have joined, but he is already ahead of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the presidential race. Having said that, he questioned the need for him to attend the event.

However, in a late Friday post on Truth Social, he announced his willingness to attend the debate. He said that the debate will have similar rules to his previous face-off with President Joe Biden, including a full arena audience.

President Biden’s exit from the election race and democratic endorsement for Harris has significantly impacted the election sentiment. According to Polymarket, there is a 53% odds of Donald Trump winning the US Presidential election in 2024, while Kamala Harris has a 44% chance.

Amid the ongoing discussions on the political scenario of the U.S., the recent challenge from Donald Trump Jr. has fueled further discussions. In addition, it also reflects the growing confidence of the former US president in the upcoming debate, scheduled for September 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has gained notable attention lately from the cryptocurrency community for his pro-crypto stance recently. He has voiced actively for Bitcoin and clear crypto regulations in the U.S. In addition, he also said to fire SEC Chair Gary Gensler, whom many in the community deem as an anti-crypto regulator.

On the other hand, VP Harris also appears to have turned softer towards digital assets recently, which many have deemed as a mere political stance. However, the debate comes amid a topsy-turvy scenario noted in the US political landscape.
