‘Dedicated’ XRP Community
The Ethereum advisor reminded that the community was put through difficult times with regulatory hurdles. While the SEC’s complaint on Ripple’s alleged sale of XRP tokens as securities came out in the last quarter of 2020, whereas Nerayoff was relieved of criminal extortion charges as the US federal prosecutors dropped the case. He was accused of extortion of funds when he was tasked with helping a startup’s ICO.
“I am astonished at how you have come together to fight. I have been in more communities than most and never seen such a dedicated yet civil one like XRP.”

The Ethereum Expose
Nerayoff had in recent times made a series of allegations related to corruption at the U.S. Securities and exchange commission (SEC) and irregularities around the Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO) in 2014. He had even claimed to have records that support these allegations. Further, John Deaton, the attorney who represents the thousands of XRP token holders in the Ripple Vs SEC lawsuit, confirmed to have seen the records Nerayoff claims to have. The attorney had even indicated that there were more revelations to come.
