Quant is a platform that integrates multiple distributed ledgers (DLTs) by eliminating communication barriers between them.
The issue that the Quant platform is attempting to address is the low adoption of distributed ledger technology (e.g., blockchain) due to the technical difficulties of maintaining it. And the customers do not have a technical means to migrate their data between different DLTs (and choose which DLT is best for them).
Quant intends to address these challenges by developing an interoperable system capable of securely and efficiently connecting diverse DLTs without bottlenecks. Quant has developed a blockchain gateway, Overledger, to overcome this challenge.
Overledger isn’t a blockchain but rather an Application Programming Interface (API) gateway that links blockchains. It enables enterprises to efficiently share information with other networks.
QNT is an Ethereum token that powers Quant Network’s Overledger. Quant Network enables the development of so-called mDapps, which allow decentralised applications to function on several blockchains at the same time.
With a market capitalization of $1.3 billion, QNT is currently trading at $110.56. Its prices have declined by 0.48% in the last 7 days and by 14.91% in the last 30 days. QNT’s price is down by 31.81% in the last two months and by 20.28% in the last three months.
According to Coincodex’s technical analysis, investor sentiment around QNT is bearish. They forecast that the QNT price will range between $ 172.32 and $ 517.48 by 2025, $ 220.59 and $ 1,147.92 by 2026, and $ 282.37 and $ 2,546.43 by 2027.

Let’s say you invest $100 in QNT today. At the current price, which is $110.56, you will get approximately 0.9 QNT tokens. If you hold and sell these when QNT hits $500, you could make $452. This means that your $100 investment would yield a 4.5x or 350% return on investment (ROI).
Now, let’s assume you invest $1000 in Quant today. At today’s market price, you will have approximately 9 coins. If liquidated at the price of $500, your $1,000 investment will be worth approximately $4,500. If QNT hits the $500 mark by 2027 (i.e., in the next 5 years), your annualised ROI will be 35.18%.
