The tech giant is making efforts, pumping billions of dollars, to expand its portfolio with the integration of AI-related features for iPhones, Macs, and various services, including the voice assistant Siri.

Apple Unveils New Plans For AI:

According to reports, the new features are likely to roll down with other AI features Apple is working on next year, 2024. The reports also suggested that Apple’s Senior Vice President of machine learning and AI strategy, John Giannandrea, and senior vice president of software engineering, Craig Federighi, are leading the project, in which efforts to integrate AI with iOS are underway.

Speaking in detail, the AI integration will have features, that include more effective auto-complete sentences using Siri and Messages app, auto-generated playlists in Apple Music, and AI-based writing assistant in apps like Pages and Keynote. 

The project is said to be in the initial stages, with the earlier announced chatbot dubbed Apple GPT designed to rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Is Apple Challenging OpenAI’s ChatGPT In AI Space?

The announcement and constant efforts to evolve with the current AI generation and technology show the commitment of Apple, to being one of the top in the technology sector. According to several market pundits, the tech behemoth has the potential to challenge its competitors like Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and others, running at a fast pace in this constantly changing AI world, for its product’s growth and benefit for users.
