Popular US political commentator and television personality Tucker Carlson had just dropped a huge hint on the Bitcoin community potentially gaining massive political leadership in South America. While it has already been announced that the former Fox News host would soon broadcast his interview of Argentina presidential candidate Javier Milei, it is the pro-Bitcoin stance he took that attracted the eye of the crypto community.

Javier Milei is considered to be the front runner to be Argentina’s next president. The Bitcoin friendly presidential candidate had recently attracted the crypto community’s interest owing the rise in Bitcoin price following his win in a recent primary election. The candidate is known for his strong views against the control of central banks on economies. Ahead of the broadcast of the Javier Milei interview, Carlson described the candidate as “probably the next president of Argentina.”
This could be a particularly big boost for the Bitcoin holders as Milei’s election as the next Argentina president could likely bring in yet another head of the country in support of digital assets after Nayib Bukele, the President of El Salvador. Bukele had created history by becoming the first leader in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
In response to the statement, a Bitcoin supported stated that Carlson should ask the presidential candidate if he will consider making Bitcoin legal tender in Argentina.
Meanwhile, details on the exact date and time for the interview broadcast are yet to be revealed. It is expected that the interview would be aired on social media platform Twitter or X, just like the Calson-Donald Trump interview broadcast.
