Kamala Harris Needs Debate Redemption

The first Presidential debate between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump turned out unexpected for the Democrat. The debate ended up fuelling concerns about Biden’s state of health, with many speculating that he has dementia. The fallout from the debate comes off as the reason why he dropped out of the race and endorsed Kamala Harris.

In order to get a major redemption on the debate front, there’s been offers and rejection from both Trump and Harris. Recently, Trump agreed to a debate with Kamala Harris on the friendly platform of Fox News. Noteworthy, this is a switch-up from the initial agreement of conducting the debate at ABC News.

Trump’s decision to not have the debate at ABC stems from an earlier legal challenge with the media outlet. He believes that there is a conflict of interest at play after he filed a defamation lawsuit against ABC and network host George Stephanopoulos. The suit had to do with the anchor’s assertion that Trump had been “found liable for rape” in the E Jean Carroll case.

However, Harris made it clear that she did not agree to the proposed term of the Fox News Debate. Specifically, the DNC Nominee is not backing out, she just does not want the Fox News arrangement.
