Crypto Market News: Billionaire investor Mark Cuban predicted the potential roadmap for the next round of development in the generative artificial intelligence space. In the midst of a new wave of AI revolution that saw OpenAI and Google facing off, Cuban opines that Elon Musk could have an edge in his plans to launch the ChatGPT competitor. Not a long while ago, in March 2023, Musk was among many influential people that called for a halt in training of the AI systems, over concerns of large scale threats to humanity.

The Shark Tank investor suggested that Google, Meta and Microsoft will need to amass massive volumes of IP and data to be able to transition from building Large Language Models (LLMs) and Large Knowledge Models (LLMs). The race to the lead the generative AI race could depend on the fastest model to gain significant hold on IP and data. Here’s where Cuban thinks Musk will gain an edge, thanks to the Twitter data.
The billionaire investor hinted that it makes great sense in Elon Musk’s efforts to build a competitor to ChatGPT. He explained that Musk has the luxury of using the massive Twitter data to train or feed any open source AI model, potentially having an able competitor to the existing models. Cuban also toyed with the idea of having a virtual Elon based on Musk’s Twitter activity.
“He (Elon Musk) can weight his own tweets and those of the sources he likes and end up with a consumer facing AI that can be a virtual Elon. Pretty cool. Pretty scary.”
Meanwhile, Musk already has some hold on the web 3.0 space with his unofficial affiliation to memecoin Dogecoin (DOGE).
