Microsoft to Reveal New AI Cloud Features

According to CNBC, at its annual Build conference, Microsoft is expected to unveil brand-new artificial intelligence technologies for use on PCs and in the cloud, as per a session roster released on Wednesday.

Nadella stated to investors in January that AI would take the center stage of development for the company in the coming year. These objectives are reflected in the schedule for Microsoft’s May conference. Microsoft aims to continue the trend by releasing new AI features for developers. The business has seen considerable revenue growth from clients using AI models in its Azure public cloud.

AI Race Intensifies as Tech Players Embark Product Reveals

Microsoft’s new AI feature reveal comes the same day as updated versions of the AI models developed by Google, Mistral, and Sam Altman’s OpenAI were made public. This occurs as the sector gets ready for the release of OpenAI’s GPT engine’s next major version. Following Facebook’s president of global affairs Nick Clegg’s indication that an upgraded version of Llama, Meta’s AI model, was on the horizon, a wave of releases began.

Additionally, Clegg discussed the release of the third iteration of Llama at a London event. Google unveiled Gemini Pro 1.5, a model that has been in development for the past few months, a few hours later. This version was promoted as having the ability to help users accomplish a lot of things with minimal processing power.
