BTCC Nears 15 Years as It Plans AI Trading Tools and RWA Expansion in 2026

VILNIUS, Lithuania, January 22nd, 2026, Chainwire – BTCC, the world’s longest-operating cryptocurrency exchange, reported record-setting performance in 2025, posting $3.7 trillion in total trading volume and growing its global user base to 11 million, a 60% year-over-year increase. 

As the exchange moves toward its 15th anniversary in 2026, it is increasingly focusing on AI-driven trading tools and expanding its offerings tied to real-world assets.

2025 Performance Overview

Over the full year, BTCC recorded $3.27 trillion in futures trading volume alongside $431 billion in spot trading activity. 

Trading in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) also saw sharp growth, with quarterly volumes rising from $1.2 billion in the first quarter to $22.7 billion by the fourth quarter. Across the year, total tokenized futures volume reached $53.1 billion.

Throughout 2025, the exchange continued its monthly Proof of Reserves reporting, maintaining reserve levels consistently above 100%.

BTCC also rolled out several platform upgrades, including a comprehensive UI refresh, improvements to its VIP program, and TradingView integration for futures traders.

Global Expansion and Industry Recognition

BTCC expanded its global footprint in 2025 through a series of community-focused events. 

These included appearances at TOKEN2049 in Dubai and Singapore, a Summer Festival in Tokyo, an MVP Night during Taipei Blockchain Week, and sponsorship of the Red Eagle Foundation’s charity golf events, which raised more than $100,000 over the year.

In parallel, the exchange increased its brand visibility through strategic partnerships, naming NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. as its first global brand ambassador.

The collaboration highlights the crossover between sports and digital assets, reflecting Jackson’s profile as a professional athlete, music producer, and active crypto trader.

BTCC’s efforts were further recognized through multiple industry awards, including BeInCrypto’s Best Centralized Exchange (Community Choice) honor.

2026 Strategic Priorities

Building on 15 years of operational track record, BTCC has outlined three focus areas for the year ahead:

• AI-Powered Trading Features: Integration of AI across risk management and trade execution optimization tools designed for both professional traders and mainstream users.
• Real-World Asset Expansion: Following the 18-fold increase in tokenized asset trading volume in 2025, BTCC will significantly expand its RWA product suite, adding additional asset classes and new trading pairs.
• Next-Generation Trading Platform: Launch of a comprehensive trading system spanning derivatives, spot markets, and multi-asset matching engines, alongside a new wealth management feature offering diversified strategies for different risk profiles.
