Terra Luna Classic core developer Joint L1 Task Force (L1TF) project manager LuncBurnArmy (Steve) and developer Fragwuerdig (Till) have resigned due to threats and doxxing. The community expressed disappointment and outrage due to some community members targeting the L1TF developer team.
According to an official announcement on July 19, Joint L1 Task Force revealed that due to recent events of blackmailing and making sensitive personal information public without consent, LuncBurnArmy and Fragwuerdig have resigned immediately. Q3 funding allocated for LuncBurnArmy and Fragwuerdig will be sent back to the community pool. Now, developers Vinh, Xi, Gevik, and Superman will manage the tasks planned for Q3.
LuncBurnArmy also took to Twitter to reach the wider LUNC community and thanked the community for their support of the L1TF members.
“I would like to thank all of the LUNC Community and validator community for making the past two quarters a success. Wishing everyone all the best, and look forward to the future success of this project.”
Fragwuerdig also thanked the community for their support and noted the achievements of the Terra Luna Classic community in the last few months.
“It breaks my heart. Thank you all for your incredible support. We have achieved a lot over the last couple of months. See you around.”
