- Mike Novogratz has not openly declared support for Kamala Harris
The United States political landscape keeps getting heated amid the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump faceoff as the election draws closer. Ever since Vice President Harris officially joined the race as Democratic National Committee (DNC) nominee, she has received a mix of support and disapproval. Mike Novogratz recently made a statement that suggests he supports her.
Mike Novogratz Hints at Support For Harris
Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz gave an idea of what United States voters want in this current election cycle during a podcast. He made it clear that Americans yearn for younger leaders as they are tired of the old politicians. Novogratz described “old politicians” as those who are around 80 years of age, citing precisely that 83% of Americans are done with them.
83% of Americans are done with old politicians—83%! It’s one of the rare things we all agree on. Time to end the gerontocracy and bring in fresh perspectives. Catch more on our latest episode of @bizuntitled… pic.twitter.com/anYW4qmoqc

This percentage is quite high and very rare according to Novogratz. Currently, there are four candidates competing for the position of the 47th United States president. Recent DNC nominee Kamala Harris is 59 years old. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is 78-year-old while Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver is 38 years old. Finally, Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is 70-years old.
It is quite obvious that Trump is the oldest of the four and is likely the target of Novogratz statement. In addition, Novogratz made it clear that he is watching out for Kamala Harris.
“We’re gonna know who Kamala Harris is and how she’s gonna run in the next eight weeks,” Galaxy Digital CEO said, adding that he would withhold his judgement until that time. Still, he believes that she has the capacity to win the election.
For or Against Kamala Harris?
Mike Novogratz is yet to outrightly declare his support for Kamala Harris but his statements precedes him. A few days ago, he took it upon himself to advise the DNC nominee about strongly standing against Senator Elizabeth Warren’s anti-crypto position. At this pace, his endorsement is likely to come soon, probably in eight weeks time like he mentioned.
One of Kamala Harris’s current critic is Peter Schiff, the notorious anti-Bitcoin financial investor. With the United States stock market facing a downtrend, Schiff believes that the presidential candidate has a part to play in it.
In the meantime, Kamala Harris is trying to adopt a crypto policy but her effort is meeting with obstructions.
