Verge Mysterious Partnership Revealed: Pornhub To Accept XVG As Payments

After weeks of anticipation and rounds of speculations, Verge finally revealed its mysterious partner, Pornhub. With this collaboration, Pornhub would now accept verge cryptocurrency (XVG) as a form of payment for its premium and on-demand services except recurring subscriptions.

Not as expected: Pornhub as Verge partner now accepts crypto payments

The mystery has been finally revealed and it is no other than Pornhub. Yes, that’s are right! After weeks of anticipation and claiming the mysterious partnership to be cryptocurrency world’s biggest partnership ever, today the name was disclosed.

After the successful crowdfunding of XVG, Verge community was extremely enthusiastic about the unknown partnership. Pornhub is the partner that will now accept cryptocurrency payments in the form of XVG.

Reportedly, Pornhub from now on will be accepting Verge as a form of payment for the Pornhub purchases that include Pornhub premium, HD and on-demand merchandising and services. However, it won’t be accepting XVG for the recurring subscriptions due to the price volatility feature of cryptocurrencies.

The VP of Pornhub, Corey Price stated via mail:

“The volatility of crypto is concerning for subscriptions with recurring payments. As such, at present, we aren’t offering it for recurring payments, though we are in the process of working to do so. Our services have fixed prices in fiat so the value in cryptocurrency will change”.

Mysterious partnership skyrocketed Verge cryptocurrency prices, Will it stop now?

Over the last few weeks, Verge prices soared high, all because of the speculation and anticipation surrounding this partnership.

Pornhub released a promotional video where it showed the effect of this partnership. Price stated in a press release:

“Our acceptance of Verge is an affirmation of our dedication to innovation and privacy, which recently has caused much concern and been at the forefront of all tech consumers’ minds. We are extremely excited to offer our fans the ability to use crypto and think Verge, with its focus on anonymity, is the best option – whether for privacy, convenience or both!”

Regarding the Pornhub partnership, a media source quoted Justin Sunerok, Verge founder as saying:

“Pornhub is a global organization with nearly a hundred million daily users. This partnership represents an enormous market with a global reach that will compete with fiat currencies. It’s huge for Verge and we’re extremely excited to finally be able to announce it.”

Pornhub’s Price will be considering other cryptos in future as well. As for Verge, this partnership boosted its prices. There has been a lot of hype in the market regarding this partnership with Verge fans guessing Amazon, Facebook, and many other big names. This might come as a disappointment to those that have been looking for a much bigger and mainstream partnership and no doubt would also aggravate some as well. So, it is yet to be seen if this collaboration would be good for the prices of Verge cryptocurrency or not.
