World War 3: Elon Musk Raises Concerns As Israel-Palestine Conflict Intensifies
Billionaire Elon Musk has voiced concerns regarding the escalating Israeli-Palestine conflict.During a Twitter Spaces session hosted by American entrepreneur David Sachs Monday, the Tesla and SpaceX boss underlined the pressing need to prioritize efforts aimed at preventing a potential World War 3.
Avoiding World War 3 Is Priority: Elon Musk
The discussion, titled “Where is Israel-Hamas war headed? Could this lead to WW3?” took an unexpected turn as Musk steered the conversation towards the broader topic of global conflict prevention.
“I think is the most important issue is ‘How do we avoid World War Three?’ because if you look at the various conflicts…they are not civilization risks. World War 3 is a civilization risk that we may not recover from. So, I think we want to prioritize avoiding World War 3; that’s actually what matters.” Musk stated.
Musk further warned that even a seemingly minor conflict could escalate into a global crisis if not addressed promptly, drawing parallels with the events that led to World War 1
“To frame things correctly, nobody expects to have a World War 3, so we need to think like, well, that could happen again. And when things cascade out of control, before you know it, we have a massive global conflict with devastation that far exceeds World War 1 and 2,” he added.
Elon And Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Musk’s comments come amidst the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, a matter that has increasingly drawn his attention. While the businessman has made known his support for Ukraine, he has previously called for peace between the two nations. Last month, he made headlines for refusing to provide Kyiv access to his Starlink communications network over Crimea, a decision he claimed was made to avoid complicity in a “major act of war.”
Notably, Kyiv had sought to activate Starlink in Sevastopol, home to a significant Russian navy port, but Musk’s refusal sparked controversy.
That said, Musk’s comments and actions underscore his growing concerns about global conflicts and his unwavering commitment to prevent World War 3. As tensions persist in various regions, Musk’s plea for a concerted effort to avoid a potential global catastrophe serves as a reminder of the importance of diplomacy and conflict resolution on the world stage.
