XRP Lawsuit: The crucial legal battle between U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs is near to its much awaited summary Judgement. However, The documents and emails related to Hinman’s infamous Ethereum speech have again landed under the spotlight.

Himan Docs To Go Public In XRP Lawsuit?

Attorney James Filan reported that Roslyn Layton a Senior Contributor to Forbes has filed a motion in the XRP lawsuit ahead of pending summary judgment. She submitted a motion to intervene to petition to Court for access to Hinman speech related docs.

Coingape reported that the US SEC lost its assertion over Hinman documents. The commission went on to surrender the memos to the Ripple and defendants.

In the motion filed by Layton, it is mentioned that on December 22, 2022, the US SEC moved to seal some portions of the Hinmans speech docs that it brought up in the support of its motion for Summary Judgement. Read More XRP Lawsuit News Here…

Hinam Docs To Play Crucial Role In Summary Ruling?

Layton stated that she holds no financial interest in the XRP lawsuit. However, she has examined the role that these docs play in the crucial case. On this basis, Layton request the court to release the documents to the public and reject the commission’s motion to keep them sealed.

It added that the US SEC conceded that these memos are “Judicial Documents” as they brought up them into evidence. However, the stakes are very high and that is not just only for Ripple, and its executives but for thousand of XRP holders who went on to suffer billions in losses due to the US SEC’s misguided efforts.

However, Attorney J. Carl Cecere filed a Motion to present Roslyn Layton in court. Amicus Curiae in the XRP lawsuit, John Deaton stated that Layton has always raised its voice against the US SEC overreach.
