ZK Nation has disclosed updates to its frequently asked questions (FAQ) document, which now includes detailed information about the upcoming airdrop.
This update includes the eligibility criteria details, how the tokens will be distributed, and the value ratio of the tokens to be distributed. The airdrop collection is scheduled to commence at 15:00 UTC+8 on June 17, promising to address the various inquiries and feedback from the community.
ZK Nation’s new FAQ section provides information on the airdrop’s criteria, which is intended to encompass as many people as possible. The first category of beneficiaries, who received 89% of the airdrop, are the users involved with the ZKsync Era by bridging crypto-assets and meeting one of the seven conditions.
The last 11% is set aside for contributors who have made a lot of contribution to the ZKsync protocol and ecosystem through building, supporting, teaching or using it. These details are meant to provide more information on the airdrop process as well as increase transparency with the community.
Furthermore, the allocation mechanism shows the distribution of tokens between users and contributors. Preferably, the list should include wallets that have interacted with ZKsync Lite and ZKsync Era to a limited extent but qualify for the rewards. This is in line with the ZK Nation philosophy of recognizing and valuing the stakeholders’ long-term participation in the ecosystem.
The recent updates also discuss the negative feedback from the community regarding the design of the airdrop. ZK Nation recognizes the disappointment felt by many people owing to unfulfilled dreams. The organization has confirmed that the airdrop design, which includes the SS date, will remain the same.
This decision stems from the intricate balance required to manage community expectations and the technical limitations of airdrop designs.
Moreover, ZK Nation has put measures to ensure that there is proper communication by only allowing constructive criticism on their platforms. This is so as to filter out sentiments and complaints which do not require specific responses from those that are actionable or require a response.
Despite the controversy that has surrounded the airdrop’s design, ZK Nation has remained focused on its vision and the ZKsync platform that underpins it. The attention remains on the creation of a community that corresponds to the ZK Credo mission and the utilization of ZK technology instead of simply redistributing the incentives.
It has always promoted engagement that is consistent with its values and technological vision, not mere interaction.
In addition, for the fairness of the airdrop, ZK Nation has also put in place strong Sybil prevention measures. These are aimed at detecting and preventing complex bot schemes that replicate human behavior to guarantee that the tokens go to real users. The explicit Sybil detection employs standard best practices to avoid generating false positives and distinguish between human users and bots.
