Donald Trump Mugshot Edition NFTs: Key Benefits

Despite maintaining a controversial political status as an opposition to the Democratic Party, President Trump chose to digitize the moment he was arrested in August of this year.

According to the announcement he shared earlier, he is selling the snippets of the clothes he wore on the day of his arrest as part of a Georgia state election allegations. There are a total OF 47 Trumps Cards in the Mugshot Edition and are priced at $99 each.

There are interesting perks associated with this latest NFT collection as Trump said collectors who hold the NFT will receive a piece of the suit he wore on the day the mugshot was taken. While this is an interesting incentive to crave the asset, the former President will also be treating collectors to a dinner at the Mar-a-Lago Club and residence in Palm Beach, Florida. Earlier NFT Collections granted access to play golf with the former President.

“It was a great suit, believe me, a really good suit. It’s all cut up, and you’re gonna get a piece of it,” Trump said in a video on Truth Social, describing the Suit he wore during the arrest.

Unlike traditional NFT Collections where the creators actually make a lot of money as some collections contains thousands of excessive NFTs prices in crypto, the Mugshot Edition, if totally scooped up will rake in just about $4,653 dollars, a fund not enough to host the holders to a grand dinner.

This low economic incentive underscores why the NFT push is more of publicity for President Trump than an avenue to make money.

Historic NFT Parley

Historically, former President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump are very fond of releasing NFT Collections. As Coingape reported earlier, almost all of President Trump’s former NFT collection releases sold out within hours, a record that this latest one may also push to hit.

The Mugshot Edition NFTs were created by NFT INT LLC with a license to use the former President’s image. Notably, some of the physical items items that are associated with these NFT collections are autographed..
