One of the leading and most innovative cryptocurrency exchanges of India, Giottus became the first to distribute Spark (FLR) tokens to their users and open trading for FLR post the completion of Spark airdrop snapshot on 12th December, 2020.
All users who held XRP in their Giottus exchange wallet at the time of snapshot got 20% Spark (FLR) tokens (15% as a part of Flare distribution + 5% additional offer by Giottus). More than 15,000 users have traded on the FLR trading pair subsequently.
The price of Spark (FLR) token has shown some volatility as expected initially and reached a high of $2.3 – four times the value of XRP. Spark token is now stabilizing in the range of $0.9-$1.
Giottus exchange received an overwhelming response from India’s crypto community to become the first exchange to list the Spark token. Giottus’ CEO and Co-founder Vikram Subburaj said:
“There has been an overwhelming response for Spark trading on Giottus. There seems to be a lot of excitement among the community for Spark tokens than we initially thought. We are noticing more momentum being built up and expect the trades to multiply in the upcoming days.”
The Flare Network has not yet launched and the official token distribution is yet to begin. Giottus become the first exchange to credit IOUs before the official distribution. Giottus will credit the remaining Spark (FLR) tokens to user accounts according to the distribution planned by the Flare Network. Giottus will most probably be the only exchange at least for the next few months where you can trade Spark tokens.
Open Giottus and start trading Spark (FLR) tokens today.
