This tennis legend may join the DOGE celebrity community next

Defending US Open champion, the 23-year-old Tennis icon of the nation, Naomi Osaka has recently conveyed her interest in DOGE. She expressed her willingness to invest in crypto because of DOGE’s constantly trending social media status.

“I was actually just talking with my agent about cryptocurrencies…I know that online, everything is getting bigger. I remember reading about Dogecoin … there is going to be something new and interesting that is going to pop up.”, Osaka told the National News.

Osaka has asserted that she wants to invest her Tennis fortune, at an early stage in her career unlike other players her age. Osaka has made massive investments in the salad franchise, Sweetgreen, along with the women’s professional football team, North Carolina Courage. The young tennis star has also revealed her own non-fungible token (NFT) last week.

“As athletes, our career isn’t that long, and so I just like being very smart with it…I like when my agent tells me there are opportunities. And in a weird way, I like to fail a little bit because it makes you understand what didn’t work and why.”, she added.

Musk hypes upcoming DOGE upgrade

DOGE seems to be coming back on track with Tesla CEO, Musk’s regained support. Elon Musk had steered away from DOGE tweets for a while, which raised speculations about Musk pulling back from the DOGE community. However, he recently attracted his Twitter audience with a reply to the upcoming DOGE upgrade. Musk has marked the foreseeable upgrade as “Important” and twitter cannot have enough of it.

Dogecoin ($DOGE) is also hiking to the top in the NFT sphere with consecutive multi-million-dollar sales. Recently, the Sad DOGE NFT was resold for $2 million after being auctioned for 15.6 ETH ($33,500) this June. Furthermore, an image of the excited Kabosu, a Shiba Inu was sold for an exceptional $4 million, during June 2021, making it the most expensive meme NFT of all time. With DOGE’s celebrity community support for the coin, along with DOGE’s NFT frenzy, it could potentially become the next big thing on the decentralized blockchain.
