With the US Presidential Elections around the corner, political parties are on their best demeanor to address the voters. Though both presidential candidates have different approaches on many topics, including cryptocurrency, the possible winning side is hard to predict. One such event, the Democratic National Convention, was held on August 19, 2024. During the event, an emotional side of Joe, as Ashley Biden took over the stage in support.

Ashley Biden is the only daughter of Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden and has been working as a social worker in Wilmington. She was also the director of the Delaware Center for Justice between 2014 and 2019 before stepping in to join her father in political campaigns. However, she personally is not involved in any political activities and still focuses on her Social activist part.

Following the footsteps of Joe, Ashley has been into community work and graduated with a degree in Cultural anthropology from Tulane University and a post-graduation in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.

She is now pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Social Work and planning to build a wellness space for trauma-bearing women. She is now 43, born on June 8, 1981, and married to Dr. Howard Krein in 2012. For most of her life, she has worked with mental health and family services.

Ashley has been active in her father’s political work and has made many appearances during campaigns and white house events. She recently joined her mother at the Democratic National Convention on August 19. At the convention, she gave a heartfelt speech and talked about how her father was an inspiration to her. Joe Biden was earlier married to Neilia Biden and had three children in that marriage Joseph Robinette III (Beau), Robert Hunter, and Naomi Christina (Amy). However, he lost his first wife and their younger baby, Naomi, in a 1972 car crash. Luckily, their other two, Beau and Hunter, had survived the crash, but Beau lost his life in 2015 because of brain cancer. At that time, Joe Biden was in the second term of his vice presidency.

Biden later married Dr. Jill Biden in 1977 and had their only daughter, Ashley Biden. With that, only two of Joe’s children are alive today. Ashley has been joining the father, Joe, in his political career.
