Verge Coin Unaffected with Hack FUD, Sees Green with New Announcement & Upcoming Meetup

Verge coin being 51% attacked the third time was doing the rounds on Reddit that got ruled out as being a FUD. Today, Verge rose in tandem with the crypto market as it registered flecks of green while being officially accepted as the only crypto as a payment by an e-commerce site. Moreover, Verge is hosting its first ever meetup in Amsterdam on June 9.

MyFitStuff announces official Verge coin acceptance

Yesterday, Verge getting 51% attacked the third time surfaced all over the Reddit. However, later on, it became clear that the news was a FUD. The Verge developer announced that everything was fine with its network.

The news saw a lot of Reddit activity, however, Verge price is unaffected as currently in the green. In the last 24-hours, Verge saw a rise of 2.06 percent while rising to $0.039, at the time of writing. With the market cap of $585 million, according to the Coinmarketcap, Verge is at 33 positions.

After Pornhub deal, Verge is now been officially accepted by MyFitStuff. An e-commerce site, MyFitStuff focuses on fitness merchandise which is now officially accepting cryptos as a payment method.

The Los Angeles, CA-based online shop only accepts Verge cryptocurrency. In association with the integrated payment gateway Coinpayments.net, it is being accepted.

MyFitStuff tweeted the news with:

The 1st ever Verge meetup coming up

Verge is hosting a meetup in partnership with TokePay in Amsterdam. According to its official website:

“The meet-up will take place on the 9th of June in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, and will take place on a boat, which we will cruise on through the Amsterdam canals.”

Moreover, it mentions:

“We will have several speakers and special guests during this event who will provide information about the Verge Currency project, blockchain development in general, as well as touch on topics related to other developments in the crypto space.”

Despite a positive flare in the market, Verge coin is currently at $0.03. Moreover, this quarter didn’t work in favor of the crypto as it slid out from the top 30 position. However, Verge community is extremely supportive and optimistic about the coin.
