Bitget links women inclusion to crypto growth

Highlights

  • Bitget expands Blockchain4Her to boost women’s crypto participation.
  • Initiative links gender inclusion to liquidity and innovation growth.
  • Global events and limited card drive Web3 visibility and access.

Bitget is celebrating International Women’s Day with a global campaign under its Blockchain4Her initiative, outlining efforts to expand women’s participation in crypto. The exchange announced online and offline activities across Asia, Europe, CIS, and LATAM on March 8. The campaign asks how Web3 can reach mass adoption without women and details how the company plans to address that gap.

Bitget Frames Inclusion as Growth Strategy

Bitget centered the campaign on the question, “How can we achieve mass adoption without women?” In a company disclosure, Bitget stated that excluding half the population restricts liquidity, innovation, and long-term returns. It presented gender inclusion as both a structural and economic issue within blockchain markets.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said, “We already know there’s a multitude of issues to tackle around the representation of women, especially in STEM fields. Even in crypto, the disparity is big.” She added that it is the role of bigger players to recognize the capabilities and influence women have, especially in the financial sector.

This campaign comes under the Blockchain4Her initiative, which the exchange describes as a long-term framework. Notably, the initiative focuses on participation, visibility, and leadership opportunities within Web3.

Global Social Campaign and Limited Edition Card

Bitget also launched a global social media initiative addressing unconscious bias in Web3. The campaign video highlights women entering sectors historically shaped by men. It also invites builders, creators, and users to outline concrete actions that support accountability and inclusion.

In addition, the company introduced an International Women’s Day Limited Edition Card through Bitget Wallet. The card carries anti-bias messaging and provides exclusive benefits tied to the campaign theme. Users can spend globally through Mastercard and Visa networks in more than 50 countries.

Also, as Coingape reported, Bitget unveiled a MotoGP-inspired challenge for crypto, stocks, and gold trading. According to the company, the card connects advocacy with daily financial activity. It remains available across regions, including Europe, LATAM, and APAC.

Offline Events Expand “Lady Forward” Program

Beyond digital outreach, Bitget scheduled in-person events across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, the CIS, and LATAM. These sessions expand the “Lady Forward” program introduced last year. Organizers designed them as structured forums for discussion on leadership, finance, and technology.

The top crypto exchange activities include workshops on flower arrangement, perfume making, pottery, and nail art. Additionally, networking sessions and panel discussions feature women leaders from the Web2 and Web3 sectors. In Southeast Asia, the program includes a mini-conference, panel discussions, and an Iftar dinner to reflect the regional context.

Through these combined actions, Bitget continues to operate Blockchain4Her as an ongoing participation framework. The campaign outlines specific tools, events, and messaging designed to increase women’s visibility across crypto markets.
