Bitget and Google Developer Group collaborate to promote AI and blockchain innovation.

Highlights

  • Bitget has collaborated with the Google Developer Group to promote innovation in AI and blockchain.
  • AI Accelerate Hack also provides young developers with an opportunity to solve real-world issues.
  • Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth program continues to expand across the globe encouraging students to join the Web3 and AI profession.

Bitget, a leading crypto exchange in the world, has joined forces with Google Developer Group (GDG). They will host a large-scale hackathon together in order to attract new innovators among young people.

Bitget Event Targets New Young Innovators

This is known as AI Accelerate Hack, and will take place on October 29, 2025, in KU Leuven in Belgium. It marks the next stage of Bitget’s growing Blockchain4Youth initiative.

It is an international initiative which helps in education and career development of youths in technology. A recent example is the Bitget partnership with UNICEF on the Game Jam program to educate 300,000 youths in blockchain and Web3 technologies.

Per the official statement, 200 participants from various academic and professional backgrounds are going to be gathered in the 10-hour hackathon. It also encourages these young ones to create real-world solutions where AI and blockchain can be combined with business innovation.

The event theme is “Fueling fast-paced innovation through technology, business, and creativity.” It reflects Bitget’s focus on connecting young talent with emerging technologies.

The Initiative Aims to Strengthen AI and Web3 Education Among Youths

The event will begin with a short opening ceremony, followed by presentations on Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth programs and its Graduate Program. The graduate initiative seeks to recruit top students directly into Web3-related roles at Bitget.

Participants in the program work with teams across more than 50 countries, receiving mentorship, rotation opportunities, and competitive pay. Teams at the hackathon will spend the day developing and refining project ideas before presenting them to judges.

Individuals who win will be awarded for their creativity, teamwork and technical innovation.  Bitget will continue to conduct more global partnerships through its Blockchain4Youth program.

According to a recent Bitget report, countries like Nigeria, China, and India are leading the world in crypto adoption. This reflects the exchange’s growing global reach.

Its next event is the WAIB Summit AI x Web3 Hackathon in KU Leuven, scheduled for November this year. The exchange said these initiatives show its commitment to building a sustainable future where education, innovation, and blockchain technology meet.

Shaping the Next Generation of Innovators

This latest hackathon organized by Bitget and GDG follows a successful first edition earlier in May at Constructor University. It also builds on Bitget’s recent educational events.

This includes a Web3 career session at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Crypto Experience Month. The latter reached over 15,000 students in 12 countries.

Alongside these educational programs, the firm’s trading ecosystem continues to grow. Bitget’s futures trading volume in the U.S has now surpassed $200 million.

Bitget’s Chief Operating Officer, Vugar Usi Zade, said the company’s youth programs are expanding rapidly across continents. He referred to hackathons as important events to mentor students, exchange knowledge, and enhance interaction within the community.

Zade further said that the program is aimed at encouraging university graduates and young professionals in the early stages of their careers to consider blockchain and AI via practical experience. GDG KU Leuven President Daniel Sparemblek said the partnership aligns with the group’s mission to empower future developers.

He noted that the collaboration bridges academic theory with real-world challenges. Sparemblek further said it encourages participants to push the limits of what is possible using AI and blockchain tools.
