The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), which is the main non-profit that Bybit founded to focus on its agenda of responsible innovation, has now concluded the Blockchain Impact Forum 2025 in Copenhagen at the same time as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Alternative Finance Lab (AltFinLab).
It was a two-day gathering that featured over 300 policymakers, technologists, and impact leaders from more than 30 countries. The goal was to explore the ability of blockchain to deliver progress according to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Day by Day Play of the Event
The event took place on November 4 and November 5, and it began with the Forum opening with “Chains of Change”, which was an invite-only leadership day focusing on governance, digital public infrastructure, and cross-sector partnerships.
The second day was focused on the BGAwards, which included the SDG Blockchain Accelerator Showcase, organized by UNDP AltFinLab, and put a spotlight on notable blockchain projects attempting to address real-world challenges when it comes to financial inclusion, sustainability, and digital trust.
The BGAwards officially were the first of their kind and were noted as the world’s first major convention fully geared towards highlighting blockchain’s ability to drive positive global impact.

The purpose of the forum was to highlight how blockchain can strengthen trust in institutions while bringing new forms of financing to life and create transparent systems to bridge social and environmental progress by embracing much more than just the carbon-negative aspect.
Commending the success of the event, Helen Liu, Co-CEO of Bybit and Founder of the Blockchain for Good Alliance, said that the event was a movement taking shape, in which the participants witnessed how blockchain could bring shared infrastructure for trust and accountability into light.
