Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) makes a spectacular debut, with trading volume and net inflows surpassing even Solana ETFs on day 1. The first XRP ETF achieves a landmark, quoted as “big day” by crypto asset manager Canary Capital. However, XRP price still slipped more than 8%.
Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) Sees Record $245 Million in Inflows
XRP ETF by Canary Capital breaks multiple records on debut. XRPC saw over $59 million in day-1 trading volume and $245 million in net inflows, the firm noted on November 14.
This marks the largest day-1 trading volume so far among 900 ETF launches in 2025. It even surpasses the $57 million trading volume recorded by Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart confirmed. “Doing it on a down day like today is pretty impressive,” he added.
Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas earlier revealed $26 million in volume in the first 30 minutes. “Wow, gonna blow away my $17m guess. Has good shot at beating $BSOL‘s $57m as biggest Day One of any launch this year,” he said.
Canary Capital CEO Comments on Massive Debut
Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, praised massive inflows into its XRP ETF on debut. Notably, inflows into the Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) surpassed those into every spot Bitcoin ETF, including $111.7 million in BlackRock Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) and $237.9 million in Bitwise (BITB).
Commenting on how it recorded $245 million in inflow but only $59 million in trading volume, McClurg said, “In-kind creations don’t show up in trading volume.”

As CoinGape reported earlier, Canary Capital CEO predicted higher inflows in XRP ETF than Solana ETF. He cited XRP demand as the reason behind the prediction, which is evident from market cap and trading volumes in Ripple coin.
