Responsibilities:
- Build, plan, and implement a traffic acquisition strategy.
- Responsible for overall organic website traffic growth through Google Search, Google News, Discover, etc.
- Performing competitive analysis to identify missing opportunities & drive growth.
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Perform SEO research and identify effective content and keywords for driving organic traffic.
- Site Speed & Core Web Vitals– Work with the development team to ensure best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. Ensure that our website pages meet the new Core Web Vitals guidelines.
- On-Page Optimization – Meta Data, internal links, content strategy, and site architecture
- Off-Page Optimization – backlink-building strategies for the website and mobile app to increase visibility and drive results
- Analyze ad Coordinate with the Engineering team to implement Technical SEO changes.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Understanding & Implementation of various Media Specific SEO techniques like News SEO, Video Sitemaps & Various content schema types.
- Monitoring daily performance metrics to understand organic search performance and identifying growth opportunities for core web3 keywords.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports related to the website’s performance, technical issues, and more.
- Conduct market research to identify the need for online marketing campaigns. Keep himself/herself up to date with ongoing trends.
What we are looking for:
- At least 2+ years experience in SEO (Experience in the News/Media is preferred) in Finance or Crypto publications.
- Should have experience in handling large websites with min. 2M+ Traffic.
- Knowledge of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain domains is a must.
- Candidates must have experience in content and SEO.
- Strong with numbers and using Analytics & research tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ahref, Semrush, and other leading marketing software tools.
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in optimizing the site for Google Top Stories, Google News & Google Discover
