Google Bard

Tech giant Google on Tuesday announced the release of its artificial intelligence Bard’s most capable and features-rich model. When OpenAI’s ChatGPT took the world by storm, Google followed with its own alternative Bard in March this year. In fact, Google has introduced various features after launch to make Bard more useful and competitive.

Google Adds Major Features to Bard AI

Google in an official announcement on September 19 said it has released Bard’s most capable model yet. Bard can now help explore possibilities with greater quality and accuracy. The update has come after 2 months to make it more helpful and competitive than other AI alternatives such as ChatGPT.

“Your feedback has accelerated Bard’s ability to be more intuitive, imaginative, and responsive than ever before. Whether you want to collaborate on something playful and creative, start in one language and continue in up to 40+ other languages, ask for in-depth coding assistance, or learn about new topics from different points of view,” as per the announcement.

Bard can now provide users with real-time info from Google apps including Maps, YouTube, Hotels, and Flights. The extensions are enabled by default, but users can disable them at any time.

In addition, the tech giant wants the Bard AI to become an integral part of work. That’s why the company will allow users to enable Bard in Gmail, Docs, and Drive, enabling users to find, summarize, and answer questions across personal content. However, the company has made it clear that Google Workspace data will not be used to train Bard’s public model.

Moreover, users can now double-check Bard’s AI-generated responses with Google Search, share a Bard conversation for more ideas, and Bard’s responses with Google Lens.
