Immutable zkEVM Launches On QuickNode As Its Mainnet Early Access Goes Live

Blockchain infrastructure platform QuickNode has announced the launch of Immutable zkEVM on its platform. The latest move brings Web 3 games development to QuickNode, offering developers EVM compatibility, high scalability and low transaction costs. Additionally, Immutable zkEVM leverages Ethereum’s security to ensure a seamless environment to develop and manage blockchain games and decentralized applications (DApps).
Following the launch of Immutable zkEVM, gaming developers will have a host of building tools, advancing the development of high-performance Web 3 games on QuickNode. Dmitry Shklovsky, CEO of QuickNode, praised the launch of Immutable zkEVM on his platform as a “significant milestone in advancing Web 3 games development” and marking a new standard in blockchain gaming development.
“By blending EVM compatibility, scalability, and Ethereum security, we’re setting new standards for gaming experiences and empowering developers and players in unparalleled ways,” Shklovsky remarked. “This is a huge leap forward in our ongoing effort to democratize access to high-quality blockchain infrastructure, and we can’t wait to see the incredible gaming experiences our community will create with this powerful new tool.”
Immutable zkEVM is a blockchain designed specifically for blockchain games, aiming to improve the gaming experience for developers and players by offering a robust, scalable, and low fee solution to building blockchain games. According to the team statement, joining QuickNode will further elevate this mission, revolutionizing blockchain games by offering a seamless platform to Web 3 gaming developers. Notwithstanding, QuickNode will also allow developers to build out global gaming platforms with low latency, enabling the adoption of Web 3 games to the masses.
Unlike other blockchain infrastructure platforms, Immutable zkEVM focuses on empowering game studios with a full scale development platform, providing them with vital resources such as liquidity, a stable community and other network effects. Other gaming development tools available on Immutable zkEVM include Passport, Orderbook, and Checkout. Passport is a decentralized ID for gamers that offers a persistent identity that accompanies users across Web3 games, ensuring a consistent configuration across all applications.
QuickNode, as a blockchain infrastructure platform, will offer gaming developers a suite of building tools via its EVM compatibility feature to ensure seamless building of DApps and platforms. This will allow developers to concentrate on building games instead of everything else that goes into running a node, including DevOps/NodeOps, uptime, scaling, security, etc. This is set to make building Web 3 games simpler and faster, allowing them to bring their products to market faster and without the obstacles that come with node maintenance and synchronization. Moreover, QuickNode is developing a solution to eliminate gas fees for players, ensuring a seamless and affordable gaming experience for all players.
The latest move by Immutable zkEVM follows the early access launch of its mainnet, powered by Polygon. Developers building on Immutable zkEVM’s mainnet will have extended capabilities, unlocking the power of futuristic games and new revenue streams. This will provide game studios and Web 3 gaming players with unprecedented control over their assets, the statement further reads.
Several gaming titles have announced they will be launching on Immutable zkEVM mainnet including Guild of Guardians, Metalcore, Shardbound, Treeverse, Cool Cats, BADMAD Robots, and Space Nation.
