Just-In: Cristiano Ronaldo Launches First NFT Collection With Binance

As part of an exclusive multi-year agreement, Cristiano Ronaldo’s first NFT collection will be made available on Friday, November 18, by Binance, the world’s foremost blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange.

The CR7 NFT Collection

A global marketing initiative involving Ronaldo will support the mega launch and bring Web3 to his millions of followers worldwide via NFTs.

Binance Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer He Yi said,

“We believe the metaverse and blockchain are the future of the internet. We are honored to collaborate with Cristiano to help more people understand blockchain and showcase how we are building Web3 infrastructure for the sports and entertainment industry.”

The very first Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection, which includes seven animated collectibles with four rarity levels —Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal, will be released on November 18 at 9 a.m. UTC.  Each NFT collectible features an iconic scene from Ronaldo’s life, from his career-defining bicycle kicks through his early years in Portugal.

Added Perks Of Owning CR7 NFTs

There will be unique benefits associated with each rarity level, including a personal message from Cristiano Ronaldo, autographed CR7 & Binance merchandise, guaranteed access to all future CR7 NFT drops, complimentary CR7 mystery boxes, and VIP entry into giveaways with signed merchandise & prizes.

Binance NFT Auction Details

The 45 highest-value CR7 NFTs (5 SSR and 40 SR) will be put up for auction on the Binance NFT marketplace. NFTs will be given to the highest bidder after this 24-hour auction. SSR and SR bid prices will start at 10,000 and 1,700 BUSD, respectively.

The price for the Normal rarity of the remaining 6,600 NFTs (600 R and 6,000 N) on Binance will start from 77 BUSD. Additionally, new customers will get a Cristiano Ronaldo Mystery Box when they join on Binance.com (and finish KYC).

Limited-edition Ronaldo NFTs might be found in these boxes as well. These CR7 Mystery Boxes will be made available for the first 1.5M new Binance users who register with referral ID RONALDO.

Users in the U.S. who make deposits on the site during the offer period will receive a free souvenir NFT from Binance.US, which is Binance.com’s U.S. partner. Users who acquire the souvenir NFT will have access to the whitelist to buy CR7 NFTs in the future.
