Stirring a Needed Change

The Terra Classic community has been advocating for LUNC/USTC swaps to be implemented for a few weeks now. The token trading pair was first proposed on June 17th and a Pull Request was submitted to officially showcase the proposal.

The recent update from the official Twitter address of the LUNCBurnArmy detailed an acceptance of the Pull Request by Terraform Labs who will be “attempting to merge the PR which should resolve the ability to swap Lunc/USTC on Station.”

The LUNCBurnArmy confirmed that the merging is underway and there is a big hope that it will be completed today with promises to update the community once the merging is completed.

Since the collapse of Terra (LUNA) and the algorithmic stablecoin TerraUSD (UST), many users notably lost trust in the future of the protocol. While a hardfork was implemented, a loyal group of developers committed to continuing working on restoring the glory of the original chain, now christened Terra Classic.

Over the past year, different attempts have been made to restore value to LUNC. Creating a trading pair for both the coin and its associated stablecoin comes off as another ingenious way to serve the community’s needs across the board.

Notable Milestones in LUNC

Every developmental work targeted at Terra Classic is a contribution in the right direction as far as the protocol is concerned. As reported earlier by Coingape, a bug bounty was unveiled in a bid to direct Whitehat hackers to the protocol to help fish out loopholes that can serve as attack vectors in the long term.

This bug bounty campaign was designed to prevent any form of impediment to growth as there have been a lot of activities launched to help fuel the growth of the protocol.

For a digital currency that was the delight of many crypto investors, LUNC is yet to recoup its losses as it shed over 99.9% of its value after attaining an All-Time High (ATH) of $119. At the time of writing, LUNC is changing hands at a price of $0.000082, down by 4.83% over the past 24 hours.
