Collaboration with CertiK Ensures Safety

CertiK, a renowned web3 security analysis platform, played a major role in uncovering this critical issue. They reported a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability that could potentially jeopardize sensitive data and crypto assets.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, OKX acted promptly to rectify the issue. Moreover, the OKX iOS wallet app users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to version 6.45.0, ensuring their digital assets remain secure.

Additionally, OKX, alongside Tether, collaborated with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) to freeze $225 million in USDT tokens, primarily targeting a human trafficking syndicate in Southeast Asia . This action, the largest of its kind, underscores the increasing cooperation between crypto entities and law enforcement in tackling illegal activities involving digital currencies.
