Oscar Winner, Anthony Hopkins’ upcoming movie to premiere on NFT Platform

Oscar awarded Best Actor, Anthony Hopkin broke the internet with the announcement of his next film, Zero Contact release via the new non-fungible token (NFT) distribution and viewing platform, Vuele. Zero Contact will be premiered on Vuele through multiple NFT drops, starting 24^th September. Anthony Hopkins’ next film, following his Oscar win of last spring, is reportedly “the world’s first feature film NFT event”.

Enderby Entertainment studio’s movie, Zero Contact has gained further traction for being produced in 17 different countries, entirely virtually during the 2020 global pandemic. Zero Contact revolves around five disciples of the late founder and tech titan Finley Hart, played by Anthony Hopkins.

These characters are situated in five far-off corners of the world, trying to stop a “globe-killing disaster event,”. Anthony Hopkins’ late character in the movie, directs his disciples to stop his creation, a time machine from wreaking havoc on the face of the earth. Furthermore, the thriller becomes more intense as a mysterious man begins to hunt down members of this group, while they figure out a plan to save Earth.

Hollywood jumps on the NFT wagon

Zero Contact may conduct the first feature film NFT event, however, NFTs are not a new concept to Hollywood. Recently, Marvel Entertainment also announced the launch of its latest NFT series featuring tokenized Spiderman and Captain America collectibles. In partnership with VeVe, Marvel Entertainment launched its initial offerings of the Marvel Mightys collectibles, during the ‘Marvel Month’ celebration in August.

Even the Entourage producer, Rob Weiss confirmed producing and directing the first of its kind crypto tv show, ‘Hold On for Dear Life‘. The series will be concentrated around the currently raging trend of NFTs. ‘Hold On for Dear Life’ revolves around the protagonist named Mel, who is a young tech founder. Mel launches a non-fungible token (NFT) named after her best friend, Aveer, who disappeared. Mel and her group of underdog friends are shown fighting against the centralized system to bring along the inevitable change in the market and people’s lifestyles with decentralized crypto powers.
