Pro-Bitcoin politician and former Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Jr. has confirmed in a court filing that he will support Donald Trump in the coming election. Many pundits following the electioneering campaign had predicted this move before now, and the court filing gave the final confirmation to the speculations.
RFK Jr Behind Donald Trump: a Formidable Force?
As reported earlier by Coingape, Robert Kennedy voluntarily dropped his presidential ambition. This update regarding his planned support for former US President Trump will come about 24 hours after he dropped out of the race.
The Court filing hinted an indirect endorsement, however, it also featured the consent of RFK Jr’s running mate Nicole Shanahan. Both Presidential contestants plans to hold rallies in Arizona where the official endorsement announcement will be issued.
RFK had a visible campaign and he made a mark with the crypto community with his policies. He was present at the Bitcoin Conference 2024 where he unveiled plans to maintain a robust reserve. While the majority of the crypto community skewed toward Donald Trump, he bagged an endorsement from Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.
The alignment of the two top contestants might prove problematic for VP Kamala Harris. After a buzzy Democratic National Convention (DNC), this endorsement announcement may shift focus away from the Harris team. The White House hopefuls are all doing everything they can to gain the attention of the masses.
Crypto remains a massive battleground in the coming election. While all parties are crafting policies that can appeal to the key players in industry, the favorite is clear.

Several weeks ago, the tough battle was between President Joe Biden, Donald Trump and RFK Jr. However, President Biden has dropped out of the race and endorsed Kamala Harris. With Robert Kennedy now endorsing Trump, the equation seems balanced.
The Trump versus Harris fight remains a tough one to call. While Polymarket Poll is favoring Trump over Harris, the weeks to the election might tilt the scale in favor of either candidate.
