Shiba Inu Lead Developer Hints At Imminent Shibarium Mainnet Release

Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama earlier confirmed a high possibility of Layer-2 Shibarium mainnet launch during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada in mid-August. Shibarium testnet PuppyNet and Telegram channel pause ahead of the event raise speculation of an imminent release of the Shibarium mainnet.

Shytoshi Kusama Pauses Telegram Channel After PuppyNet

The much-awaited Shiba Inu L2 solution Shibarium mainnet is confirmed to launch next week as lead developer Shytoshi Kusama also paused Shibarium’s official Telegram channel. He earlier halted the Telegram channel similarly ahead of the Shibarium testnet PuppyNet launch in March.

The recent blockchain activity and developers’ actions indicate an imminent release of the Shibarium mainnet. The Shiba Inu team halted PuppyNet testnet after it successfully processed 35 million transactions and wallet addresses reached 17 million.

Shytoshi Kusama and Shiba Inu’s official content marketing specialist Lucie also hints at an upcoming launch of the Shibarium mainnet. The Shiba Inu team also revealing its TREAT token, partners, and other plans in the upcoming week.

Shibarium Validators Going Live on Mainnet

Some key members of the community also confirmed that the Shibarium preparations for the mainnet launch pick pace as the initial validator contract goes live. According to Etherscan data, validators are going live on the Shibarium mainnet.

SHIB price jumps 8% in the last 24 hours and 16% in a week, with the price currently trading at $0.0000096. The 24-hour low and high are $0.00000893 and $0.00000968, respectively. Recently, whales started moving trillions of SHIB tokens to different wallets for preparing to accumulate BONE token.

Meanwhile, Shibarium’s gas token BONE price moving mostly sideways, with the price currently trading at $1.64.
