XRP News: XRP, Ripple’s native token price registered a major upswing after US based cryptocurrency exchange filed Amicus briefs in the support of the defendants. However, more Amicus have submitted their briefs for the Summary Judgement. This has motivated the whales to add more XRP tokens to their wallets.

As per the data provided by Whale Alert, Crypto whales have added more than 468 million XRP in multiple transactions. Around $181 million worth of XRP has been accumulated by whales in the last 24 hours.

The biggest XRP whale accumulation transaction record has been of adding 350 million XRP tokens. Around 134.8 million worth of XRP tokens were moved from Binance to an unknown wallet.

However, over 93 million XRP (approx worth $36.1 million) XRP tokens were bought from the Bitstamp crypto exchange in multiple transactions.

XRP prices have jumped by 3% in the last 24 hours. It is trading at an average price of $0.38, at the press time. Its 24 hour trading volume stands at $1.6 billion.

Amicus to back Ripple

Coingape reported that Judge Analisa Torres granted leave to submit Amicus Brief in the lawsuit. Coinbase filed Amicus Brief in the support of Ripple Fair Notice Defense. As of now, 16 Amicus have been granted permission to file briefs.

However, 13 are in support of Ripple. While 2 support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Meanwhile, Digital Chamber has taken a neutral stance.

Attorney James Filan reported that after Coinbase, Crypto Council for Innovation, Reaper Financial, LLC, Veri DAO, The Six XRP Holders and Paradigm Operations have also submitted the Amicus Brief in the lawsuit.
