Breaking: Elon Musk’s xAI Taps Into AI Image Generation & Other Features for Grok

Artificial intelligence firm xAI founded by billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly working on image generation for generative artificial intelligence chatbot Grok, as per people who sourced the codes. The company may also start leveraging web search results for Grok, optimizing search outcomes for X users and likely in other products.

Elon Musk’s xAI is branching out to other potential advantages of artificial intelligence and integrating them into its chatbot Grok. xAI is working on image generation for Grok, as reported by X Daily News on June 8.

In addition, xAI is also tapping into leveraging web search results for Grok. This will help users get more, elaborate, and optimized, and accurate information through Grok. Currently, it searches and shows information from X (previously Twitter).

Grok 1.5 rollout to all users is also likely happening now as per experts. The xAI website says the introduction is in the pipeline.

Mario Nawfal, internet personality and host of largest spaces on X, said the source code are reviewed and it reveals that “It will likely be way better than Google Gemini.”

Toby Pohlen, founding member of xAI, disclosed recently about Grok 1.5 version under testing by some partners. He also mentioned experimenting with image support in the conversational UI, giving users a considerably better experience. However, he didn’t unveil the release date and kept users to patiently waiting for new features on Grok.

Elon Musk Sets More Focus on AI

After Nvidia and OpenAI introduced image generation capabilities through artificial intelligence, many companies have moved to utilize and expand AI capabilities. OpenAI’s DALL-E image generator has been improved to introduce new features including tool to identify AI-generated images.

Elon Musk has asked Nvidia, the GPU manufacturing giant, to send AI chips to xAI and X before Tesla. The move likely align with the rising demand for AI-related technologies.
