A Look At Kamala Harris’ Ad Campaign

The first ad, titled “Fearless,” highlights Kamala Harris’ extensive legal background and her tenure as Vice President. Moreover, it brands her as a champion for the American people. “This campaign is about who we fight for,” Harris stated in the ad. She added:

“We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Where every senior can retire with dignity.”

Furthermore, the ad emphasizes her career milestones as a prosecutor and California Attorney General. It showcases her reputation for standing up to bullies, criminals, and special interests. In addition, Kamala Harris’ campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, reinforced this narrative by stating:

“Throughout her career as a courtroom prosecutor, Attorney General, United States Senator, and now as Vice President, Kamala Harris has always stood up to bullies, criminals and special interests on behalf of the American people – and she’s beaten them.”

Dillon even went to say that Harris is capable of defeating Trump. The campaign chair stated, “She’s uniquely suited to take on Donald Trump, a convicted felon who has spent his entire life ripping off working people, tearing away our rights, and fighting for himself.”

Trump Disses Harris In Latest Ad

On the same day, former President Donald J. Trump launched his first television ad targeting Harris. The 30-second spot exposes footage of Harris dancing with scenes of migrants crossing the border. In addition, it accuses her of failing in her role as the “border czar.”

Furthermore, the ad blames Harris for millions of border crossings and a quarter-million deaths from fentanyl, asserting these tragedies occurred “on Harris’s watch.” It concludes with the tagline, “Failed. Weak. Dangerously Liberal,” displayed over the footage of Harris dancing at an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

This aggressive ad represents Trump’s initial major television buy since Harris secured her position as the Democratic nominee. Moreover, the ad’s content aims to hold Harris accountable for what Trump’s team sees as significant failures in border security and public safety during her tenure as Vice President.

In addition, the Trump campaign began securing a two-week ad reservation on Monday, July 29. It focuses on the six top battleground states. Earlier, during the Bitcoin Conference on Saturday, Trump announced that he’ll commence the SEC shake-up by firing Gary Gensler on the first day of his entering the White House.
