Sony’s Soneium Blockchain Super App Unveiled by Startale
Startale Group, as part of a continued partnership with Sony Block Solutions Labs, unveiled a super app offering an all-in-one gateway to the Startale and Soneium ecosystem, as per an official announcement on November 11.
The app is designed to make the open digital economy simple, secure, and connected, marking the beginning of a new chapter to bring the world on-chain. The app serves as a single access point into the Soneium ecosystem, which includes token generation events, airdrops, and on-chain rewards.
Sota Watanabe, CEO of Startale Group, said the platform enables anyone to come on-chain effortlessly, interact daily, and stay connected in a simple, secure, and intuitive way.

Sony’s Blockchain on the Super App
Sony’s blockchain Soneium took to X to reach out to the wider community about its super app. It claims the super app is optimized for the ecosystem as “open internet needs a simple way for everyone to interact on-chain.”
The Startale App allows users to create a wallet in seconds with an email address and is built on Account Abstraction. This helps avoid juggling seed phrases or signing gas fees for every transaction.
For builders, the Mini Apps enable teams to build directly on Soneium and earn rewards. In collaboration and support from Ethereum, the shared goal makes Web3 simple, secure, and more rewarding. Future integrations, including social protocols, will make it even easier for developers to bring new experiences to users.
The app has now entered closed beta and is welcoming registrations for early access. The companies announced perks, including STAR Points, referral bonuses, and updates on new products.
